What is Bubble Word Jam?
Bubble Word Jam is a category-sorting word puzzle from Lion Studios Plus, available on iOS and Android. Each board scatters dozens of word bubbles across a tray, and the goal is to drag matching words together into the themed group they belong to, such as colors, weekdays, or animal names, before the tray runs out of room. Level 1 opens with four clean four-word groups and no obstacles, but even here the danger is letting two categories share the same crowded pocket, since words like `BUS` and `BICYCLE` sit close enough to weekday words to invite a wrong first merge.
The boards widen and layer quickly after that. By Level 5 the game starts hiding near-duplicate categories inside each other, such as a text-only cat-trait group sitting on top of an icon-backed pets group, and asks players to separate two related word families, like plain drinks from coffee-specific terms, instead of merging every similar word on sight. Frozen number counters that must be melted before the board opens further appear by Level 30, and a purple octopus pressure mechanic that squeezes the tray starts pressing in by Level 39. From Level 100 onward, boards regularly hold ten to seventeen separate groups at once, and by Level 101 a visible move counter is attached to the level, turning some boards into a race against a fixed number of moves rather than an open-ended sort.
LevelSolve currently publishes a walkthrough for all 250 live levels, out of 250 total levels Bubble Word Jam has released so far. Of that range, 1 level is easy, 26 medium, and 223 hard, reflecting how quickly the game moves from simple four-word groups into wide, multi-category boards. Every guide lists the board's categories, flags the specific words that are easy to mis-sort, and gives a clear merge order, with a video walkthrough linked wherever one exists.

How to Play Bubble Word Jam
These tips apply across all Bubble Word Jam levels. For level-specific advice, open any walkthrough from the range browser above.
- Clear the largest, most obvious category first on any board. An easy four-word group that is already visible, such as colors or a weekday set, opens center tray space that the rest of the board needs.
- When two categories look similar, such as a generic drink group and a coffee-specific group, keep them apart rather than merging any drink-sounding word on sight. Boards from Level 5 onward regularly hide a narrower category inside a broader one.
- Melt frozen number counters as soon as they appear rather than working around them. The ice blocks the board from opening further, and boards from Level 30 onward do not loosen up until every frozen counter is cleared.
- Once the purple octopus pressure mechanic appears, treat every clear as time-sensitive. Boards from Level 39 onward get tighter the longer an easy category is left unsolved, so finish visible groups quickly instead of scanning the whole board first.
- On boards with a center chain or lock counter, keep working through outer categories to bring that counter down rather than trying to force it open directly. The lock only releases once enough surrounding groups have been cleared.
- When a level shows a fixed move counter, prioritize the categories that free up the most tray space per merge instead of clearing whichever group is easiest to spot. Running out of moves before the board opens up is the main failure mode from Level 101 onward.
- On late, group-heavy boards, resist merging a word the moment it looks close to a finished category. Short, similar-sounding words in categories like landforms, trees, or symptoms are often split across two different groups that only separate cleanly late in the board.
